TENCEL™ Modal is a branded fiber produced exclusively by Lenzing AG using a closed-loop manufacturing process that recovers and reuses chemicals and water at high rates. The fiber is made from wood pulp sourced from FSC®- and PEFC-certified forests, with every batch traceable via molecular marker technology from forest to finished garment. Eberjey’s Gisele collection is 95% TENCEL™ Modal and 5% Elastane, certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and free from over 100 harmful substances.
The softness of the Gisele PJ Set is structural, not chemical. TENCEL™ Modal fibers are exceptionally fine and smooth — far finer than conventional cotton — so the fabric lies flat against the skin with minimal surface friction. There is no rough fiber-end
texture, no pilling after washing, and no stiffening over time. The 5% Elastane component adds Eberjey’s signature stretch, so the fabric moves with the body and returns to shape wash after wash.
Yes. The Gisele TENCEL™ Modal collection is fully machine washable. Wash cold and tumble dry on low. For best results, wash inside out or in a mesh laundry bag to protect details and reduce pilling, and remove promptly from the washer to prevent wrinkles and preserve
the richness of the color.
