Great fabric, high quality but needs pockets.
I am a frugal New Englander and want to spend extra money for clothing that I know will last a decade. My previous gift from my husband from the Soma Intimates lasted over a decade; it took twelve years for them to become threadbare. The viscose slipped effortlessly against flannel sheets. When I read the reviews on the Soma Intimate store, I was truly disappointed to hear they have changed fabric.
A dedicated group of New York Times staff came to the rescue. These PJs are the highest rated. If you are reading this review, you seek high quality sleepwear at the price you need to pay for high quality sleepwear. Nicely done, you are in the right place. The fabric of Gisele Tencel Modal Long PJs slides against flannel sheets. The fabric goes all the way down to my ankle, which is nice. It is cool against my skin, which I like. However . . .
I WANT MY POCKETS, PLEASE. I WANT NICE POCKETS AT THE WAIST. I don't like my cellphone bouncing around in a pocket over my breast as I head downstairs to make coffee. Is that too much to ask?
That said . . . I'm glad I got five pair. These PJs are a luxury, but worth it.
