I purchased the Eberjey Gisele TENCEL™ Modal Short Sleeve & Pant PJ Set expecting a true luxury pajama set given the price, but unfortunately the design doesn’t match the premium branding.
The one thing I do genuinely like is the fabric. The TENCEL™ modal material is soft, lightweight, and stretchy, and it feels great against the skin.
However, the rest of the design is disappointing. The pants run short and the waistband is unusually narrow, which makes them less comfortable than expected. Even more surprising for loungewear at this price point, the pants don’t have pockets.
The top is where the design really falls short. The neckline is cut very low and you can’t button it any higher. Because the fit is loose and the neckline is so deep, the front of my bra is visible when I wear it. If I bend over, everything shows. As a result, these aren’t pajamas I can comfortably wear around other people in my home, which defeats the purpose of a lounge set.
For such an expensive set, I expected more thoughtful design details and functionality. The fabric is beautiful, but the fit and construction don’t reflect the “luxury” standard the brand promotes.
I’m honestly surprised by the design choices and would love to hear whether others have had similar issues, or if this is something the brand plans to address.
